Manneken Fly’s rules and regulations
Preamble:
Manneken Fly is a virtual airline operating on the IVAO network, offering its members the opportunity to fly and share their passion for aviation. Manneken Fly members must comply with all rules and regulations established by the company and the IVAO network.
Registration:
- Registration to Manneken Fly is open to all. Members must also accept the present rules and regulations of the company and the IVAO network.
- Members must provide accurate and complete information when registering, such as their full name and e-mail address.
- Pilots wishing to join the airline must first be present on our Discord server.
Flights:
- The pilot flying with his Manneken Fly callsign must respect the IVAO rules, as well as the Manneken Fly rules. All flights must be performed on IVAO and must be registered from our tracker. Flights with other airlines cannot be counted as flight hours for Manneken Fly.
- All Manneken Fly pilots must be active in order to achieve a minimum of two flights per month. Failure to do so could result in exclusion from the airline.
- If the pilot is unable to fly for any period, he must inform the airline by e-mail at info@mannekenfly.com, failing which he will be dismissed from the company.
- All pilots are requested to set their simulator to a normal time and realistic weather simulation during flights operated for Manneken Fly.
- These settings contribute to creating as realistic a flying environment as possible, which is essential for an authentic and safe flight experience.
- Downloading liveries is strongly recommended
- New pilots are asked to rotate within 15 days of being recruited.
Interactions with Air Traffic Control and Other Pilots:
- During online flights via IVAO, pilots must maintain professional and respectful interactions with virtual air traffic control and other pilots online.
- Courtesy and cooperation are essential to ensure an enjoyable flight experience for all participants.
Sharing, streaming or creating content:
- Manneken Fly pilots are free to publish, stream or share content relating to the airline’s activities, provided that no IVAO and/or Manneken Fly rules are broken.
Software:
- Pilots must install, maintain and use our software used to track and validate their flights.
- Any flight made without having the software correctly configured will not be taken into account.
Maintaining Connection:
- Pilots must ensure they have a stable and reliable internet connection during online flights to minimize the risk of disconnection and disruption for other pilots.
- The internet connection is required by IVAO and our tracker software.
- A maximum of 30-minutes disconnection (due to loss of Internet connection or computer crash, for example) is tolerated. After this time, the flight will not be counted.
Confidentiality of Internal Information:
- Manneken Fly members must respect the confidentiality of internal company information and not disclose sensitive data to third parties without prior authorization.
Zero Tolerance for Inappropriate Behavior:
- Manneken Fly adopts a zero-tolerance policy towards any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior, including harassment, discrimination, or any other form of misconduct.
